Table Mountain-Peninsula Tour 1.23.07
To get to Table Mountain, you have to take a swedish lift; it is not for those who fear heights. The climate can be dramtically different at the top than the bottom, so Hanny warned us to bring jackets.
Because of high winds, Table Mt. was closed in the morning, but by the time we made drove up, the lift had re-opened. Much of South Africa is covered with various Protea, which is the flower you see in the pictures.
