Victoria and Alfred Waterfront 1.23.07

The V&A Waterfront is a shipping and entertainment district for the cape. There are malls, dining and craft markets galore. After our city tour, Hanny dropped us off here for dinner and shopping.

If I travel to Cape Town again, I would stay on the wharf, because it's the only safe place for tourists to walk around freely at night. After dinner, we braved hailing a cab back to the hotel; this worked out so well, we went back the next night too.

As you can see, there are breathtaking views of Table Mountain from the wharf.
